FIELD: mineral fertilizers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing mixed fertilizers from ammonium nitrate with limestone or calcium carbonate. Production line comprises ammonium nitrate-limestone mixing unit, wherein volume of the mixing unit case space is assumed lesser than or equal to volume found from formula: Vis = Pmin·Tgc wherein Vis relates to internal space volume, m3, Pmin minimum design productivity of lime-ammonium nitrate, m3/min, and Tgc minimal time for gasless contacting of limestone with ammonium nitrate melt, min. Minimal contact time without gas release for "ammonium nitrate melt-limestone" system is 5.24 min.
EFFECT: enabled gasless contacting of ammonium nitrate melt-limestone system due to properly selected unit space volume.
