SUBSTANCE: invention proposes calcined ammonium nitrate for improvement of the soil productivity that comprises ammonium nitrate, calcium and magnesium nitrate wherein components are taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: ammonium nitrate, 70-87; total content of calcium and magnesium nitrate, 13-30, or 29-32 wt.-% as measured for nitrogen, or 4.0-10.0 wt.-% as measured for CaO. Dolomite extract containing up to 42 wt.-% of calcium and magnesium nitrate in sum is used as a source of calcium and magnesium nitrate. Invention relates also to a method for its preparing that involves mixing ammonium nitrate with dolomite extract containing up to 42 wt.-% of calcium and magnesium nitrate in sum that is mixed with ammonium nitrate taken in the amount providing the total content 13-30 wt.-% of calcium and magnesium nitrate in granulated calcined ammonium nitrate followed by evaporation of the mixture. Before granulation the concentrated solution is cooled additionally. Invention provides preparing calcined ammonium nitrate with improved physical-chemical and consumers' properties, simplifying process and reducing consumptions for manufacturing ammonium nitrate.
