FIELD: mechanical engineering; industrial acoustic.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wide band and low frequency noise silencing and it can be used in all industries for damping noise in ventilation and air conditioning systems. Proposed noise silencer member consists of housing with hinge cover filled with sound-absorbing material and placed in protective envelope. Walls of housing and cover are provided with perforations and are made of stainless steel, thickness 0.7 mm, with polymeric protective and decorative coating, type PURAL, thickness 50 mcm.
EFFECT: improved acoustic characteristics in range of low, medium and high frequencies.
