FIELD: processes and apparatuses for noise suppressing, possibly for suppressing sound caused by emission of gas (air) flows to atmosphere.
SUBSTANCE: exhaust noise silencer includes cylindrical perforated housing with turning in which sound absorbing member is arranged and jacket embracing sound absorbing member with gap forming expansion chamber. Housing is provided with lengthwise slit for air outlet and it is mounted with possibility of rotation around its axis. Sound absorbing member is in the form of envelope formed by rotation around axis of housing of triangle, rectangle, segment or rectangle type figure having curvilinear upper base.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of noise suppressing, possibility for setting direction of gas flow emission, simplified design of noise silencer.
