FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, technique used in pulling drives of locomotive engines and reduction gears of general machinery.
SUBSTANCE: flexible toothed gear has hub, toothed rim with disk, centering link designed for rotating connection thereof with hub and made in the form of double-sided bearing including balls placed within ball races, flanges which embrace said disk, rubber-metal blocks interference fitted in eccentric openings of toothed rim disks and flanges, each of said rubber-metal blocks having segments and shock-absorber equipped with central through opening and interposed between segments. Supporting surfaces of segments and shock-absorbers are extending radially of toothed rim. Segments have guiding shoulders and centering blind apertures with shock-absorbers fixed therein. Flexible toothed gear is further provided with planks attached to flanges and adapted for fixing of axial offset of rubber-metal blocks. Stop rods interference fitted within central openings of rubber shock-absorbers are made from material having higher coefficient of elasticity as compared to that of shock-absorber rubber. Stop rods are positioned within blind apertures of segments with longitudinal gaps between rod ends and bottoms of blind apertures. Ball races are defined by disk of toothed rim and rings manufactured from hardened ball-bearing steel and pressed into channels provided on flange ends.
EFFECT: improved damping and enhanced reliability in operation of toothed gear.
