FIELD: investigating or analyzing of materials.

SUBSTANCE: gas analyzer comprises housing that receives the device for damping the material to be analyzed in the vicinity of the sensitive surface of the sensor. The damping device is made of a tank filled with water and defined by the base that is provided with a projecting conical member that goes into the cylindrical section and cylindrical lid, which are tightly interconnected. The damping device is provided with the opening made in the cylindrical lid for permitting the material to be in a contact with the sensor of the gas analyzer. The opening and the hole in the projecting member of the base are axially aligned. The side of the cylindrical projecting member of the base is perforated. The diameter and the number of holes of the perforation depend on the required dump of the material to be analyzed. .
