FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in gas analyzers when monitoring inert gases by oxygen. Proposed is to introduce a additional thermocouple in the gas analyzer using a potentiometric solid electrolyte cell (PSEC) for measuring oxygen concentration in inert gases and nitrogen. Additional thermocouple with its junction is installed near the rounded part of the PSEC test tube and electrically is connected in series with the thermocouple arranged in the center near the PSEC external electrode.
EFFECT: technical result is elimination of thermal EMF of the PSEC.
