FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment used in creation of woodland pastures on arid territories.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has rotating vertical column with knives, tip in its lower part and carrier provided with stop adapted for contacting with hole surface. Knife has transportation and cutting members. Transportation member is connected to cutting member through turnbuckle and axially aligned pivot joints. Lower edges of transportation and cutting members are equipped with blades. Cutting edges of blades are oriented lengthwise of generatrix of conical surface. Cleaving members are positioned rearward of blades, on rear side of each cutting member so as to change their position in vertical plane.

EFFECT: minimized consumption of power, increased efficiency and reduced expenses for creating of woodlands in sub-arid and arid territories.
