FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; production of the wear-resisting steel.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to production of the wear-resisting steel intended for manufacture of machines components and the equipment operating in the conditions of the friction and the increased wear. The steel composition is (in mass %): carbon - 0.7-1.0, silicon - 0.2-0.3, manganese - 9.0-11.0, nitrogen - 0.07-0.15. tantalum -0.005-0.01, tellurium - 0.001-0.002, calcium - 0.005-0.01, copper - 0.8-1.2, titanium - 0.1-0.2, iron - the rest. The invention allows to increase the service life of the steel products.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased service life of the steel products.
