FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in development of underwater mineral deposits. Proposed method comes to transportation of solid particles in hydraulic mixture and delivery of hydraulic mixture into suction pipeline of pump. Value of mass flow rate of solid particles in hydraulic mixture flow in suction pipeline is set preliminarily before bringing solid particles out of hydraulic mixture flow in ocean at depth corresponding to lifting parameters and composition of hydraulic mixture. Solid particles are continuously let out from hydraulic mixture delivered into pump. Value of mass flow rate of solid particles in hydraulic mixture in delivery pipeline is monitored. Check value is compared with preset value and they are brought into agreement by regulating value of flow rate in delivery pipeline into which solid particles get. Device for transporting hydraulic mixture contains pump and accumulator installed in column of delivery pipeline. Pump and accumulator are submerged in ocean. Accumulator is installed in intermediate cross section of pump suction pipeline. Section of delivery pipeline between pump and accumulator communicates with ambient medium through branch pipe with controlled gate. Accumulator accommodates working wheel with blades and end piece of delivery pipeline.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of continuous lifting of materials with prevention of transportation of solid particles through pump and grinding of solid particles.
