FIELD: automotive industry; disk brakes.

SUBSTANCE: proposed disk brake contains caliper with brake shoes and enclosing one or more brake disks. At least one brake disk is installed for sliding on hub or part connected with hub on splines or teeth. Hub is fitted on wheel axle, and brake shoes are parts of units of brake shoes and are installed on each side of one or more brake disks. Maximum angle between axes of rotation of wheel axle and brake disk is limited by clearance between brake disk and adjoining brake shoes when disk brake is released.

EFFECT: prevented possibility of brake dragging and self-application of brakes in state of release.
