FIELD: protection of valuable papers and documents from forgery.
SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing holographic labels includes forming a hologram of marking sign image on the surface of working layer of label, registration of relief-phase marking sign image hologram by non-contact deformation of working layer of label, serial application of reflecting and gluing layers onto the working layer surface. The working layer of label is made in form of multi-layer structure, which includes a substrate and a photo-sensitive thermo-plastic registering layer. Hologram of marking sign image is formed using separate fragments, where aforementioned forming and also registration of relief-phase marking sign image hologram are partially combined in time.
EFFECT: increased level of protection of marking sign image hologram from possible forgery.
