FIELD: electric engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device can be used in medicinal-prophylactic institutions and sanatorium-and-spa institutions. Control device for training apparatus has reciprocal motion drive mechanism, which has electromagnet with armature connected to removable length-variable rod through rod, and control station, which has mode setting unit, controls signal forming unit and controlled current source. Controlled current source has its output connected with winding of electromagnet and its control input is connected with output of control signal forming unit. Input of the latter is connected with mode setting unit. Electromagnet has cone-shaped armature and yoke. Characteristics of control of drive mechanism are improved due to smooth and dosed change in traction load at rod of drive mechanism.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation.
