FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves using ozonized isotonic sodium chloride solution having ozone concentration of 4500-6000 mkg/l. The solution is introduced into the root canal in the amount of 10-15 ml within 5-10 minutes. Then, the root canal is treated with ultrasound via wave guide during 2-5 min at frequency of 28-30 kHz. To increase complicated caries treatment efficiency, the treatment is applied 2-7 times with 1-3 days long pauses and intermediately setting temporary filling. When applying this way of root canal treatment, the treatment course takes several days. To increase periodontitis cases treatment efficiency, dental root canal treatment is carried out 2-5 times with 0.5-3 min long pauses. The way provides decrease in concentration anaerobic representatives of microflora in the root channel, especially for treatment of remote channels, at simultaneous exception of and irritating influence on fabrics of a periodontium, exception of change of color crown of a tooth.

EFFECT: simplified method; reduced anaerobic microflora concentration in root canal; excluded allergic reactions occurrence; no tooth corona color changes occurred.
