FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapeutic dentistry, and can be used for drug treatment of root canals of teeth with a periapical abscess without a fistula. The root canal is drained, access is created and the root canal is instrumented. Irrigation is performed with Biol at a dilution of 1:3 in a volume of 2 ml per root canal using an endodontic syringe. Then, an absorbent paper point moistened with Biol is introduced into the root canal for 3 minutes. The subsequent treatment of the root canal of an open tooth is carried out using oral baths with 2% sodium bicarbonate solution for three days. The tooth is filled at the second visit with a calcium-containing endo-sealant.
EFFECT: method reduces inflammation in the periapical region and increases the reparative process.
