FIELD: machine engineering, for example strengthening of metals by surface plastic deforming, plastic working of metals, investigations for studying influence of high-frequency mechanical oscillations upon properties of metals.
SUBSTANCE: high-frequency striker includes rod whose lower end is cone-shaped and rounded. Upper end of rod has hole for mounting. Rod has beads arranged non-uniformly along its whole length. Stepped sleeve-strikers are movably mounted under said beads except last bead. Each sleeve-striker is forced to upper bead by spring arranged between said sleeve-striker and respective lower bead for forming gap between sleeve-striker and respective bead due to elastic pressing. Spacing between beads of rod is determined according to given formula. It provides possibility for creating series of striking pulses at increasing frequency of strikes.
EFFECT: improved design of striker providing possibility for creating series of striking pulses with increased frequency of strikes.
