FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to shaping outer splines. Proposed device comprises straining elements, static load hydraulic cylinder and intermittent pulse load cylinders with hammer and waveguide. Said intermittent pulse load cylinder reciprocates on said static load hydraulic cylinder rod. Waveguide and hammer are composed of sleeve reciprocating on static load cylinder rod. Straining elements are composed of rolls with height equal to blank spline width. Straining elements are fitted in female die radial grooves for radial rolling at male die lengthwise displacement to get in contact by its inner conical surface with straining elements over female die. Male die is rigidly coupled with waveguide and fitted coaxially in ring hole, at bed and on female die. Static load hydraulic cylinder rod is equipped with blank retainer. Gaging belt is made on female die opening surface.

EFFECT: expanded machining performances, increased depth of hardened layer and decreased roughness.
