FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as screw device converting rotation into translational motion. Proposed device consists of screw 1, housing 2 with covers 3, threaded rollers 9 engaging with thread of screw 1. Threaded rollers 9 are fixed from axial displacement relative to housing owing to ball 12 fitted in cages 11 and thrusting against covers of housing by L spherical undercutting made on faces of each threaded roller, and ring slot B made on inner end face surface of each cover. Flexible rings 10 can turn in slots E threaded rollers 9 relative to screw axis. To provide assembling of device, width Ls of slot E of threaded rollers should exceed width Lr of rings by minimum 1.5 - 2 pitches of screw thread. Two makes of device are available. In one of device threaded rollers are additionally coupled with housing by gear engagement and in other device, they are not coupled. Favourable kinematics in places of contact of ball with cover and roller and possibility of rolling of rings along slots E of threaded rollers provide high efficiency, reduced intensity of wear and long service life.
EFFECT: improved operation reliability, long service life and reduced intensity of wear.
