SUBSTANCE: method involves determining interleukine-8 concentration before and one week after the operation in dacryocystitis patients' lacrimal fluid. Its concentration being within 120-600 pkg/ml, favorable dacryocystorhinostomy outcome is to be predicted. IL-8 concentration being equal to or greater than 750 pkg/ml, unfavorable outcome with disease relapse following is to be predicted.
EFFECT: high prognosis accuracy.
