FIELD: screw-free connection of contact member to conductor running to fire-alarm box.
SUBSTANCE: proposed screw-free contact member has flexible strip with components for its locking in socket, contacting lug provided with open slit which bounds pad corresponding to mating contact, and holes for passing conductors. Each hole corresponds to respective flexible hold-down lug provided with open slit and respective contact gap. Hold-down lug has contact region between base and entrance part of lug. Contact region of lug is disposed transversely to conductor lead-in direction and is made in the form of locking slot. Bottom edge of slot is disposed below flexible strip plane on conductor lead-in end.
EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated manufacture and wiring, enhanced reliability of contact joint, reduced mass, size, and cost of manufacture and wiring.
