FIRE ALARM BASE CONTACT Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC H01R13/15 

FIELD: electrical engineering; fire alarm systems.

SUBSTANCE: proposed contact has flexible conducting strip with projections on its end, hole for attaching to base insulation backing, and hole on edge of this strip for screwing to conductors and components of fire alarm stub. Made on open-slit strip is lug in the form of chess pawn whose round head is joined with small backing of trapezium-shaped flexible arm through rectangular body of lug. Large backing of flexible arm is joined with strip. Rectangular body of lug has bend that forms arc following outer shape of respective mushroom-like contact cap. Round head of lug is larger than mentioned cap and height of the latter is greater than distance between strip and point of lug bend arc extreme with respect to strip. Width of lug rectangular body is greater than diameter of respective mushroom-like contact stem but smaller than diameter of its cap. Lug is molded so that round head of lug or its part remains parallel to strip plane.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of contact connection.
