SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with evaluating the atrophy of supporting tissues of denture bed and efficiency for orthopedic treatment at applying removable denture constructions(dental, gnatho-dental, gnatho-dental-oral dentures) and, also, the level of adaptation of transplantation and/or implantation material after reconstructing alveolar processes and gnathic bodies. The method for measuring the atrophy of supporting tissues of denture bed deals with obtaining a functional copy with the help of a removable denture under the action of chewing pressure force with correcting material to measure its thickness. Beforehand, one should cover the basic denture surface that faces towards denture bed with insulating composition, obtain the copy with acryl plastic of cold hardening under the action of chewing pressure of similar value in different periods of the survey conducted under the control of gnathodynamometric investigation. One should measure the thickness of correcting material should be fulfilled after separating it against the denture basis in the points under survey to carry out comparative evaluation in certain time intervals.
