FIELD: experimental biology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing natural sorbent Irlit-1 in the form of 6%-suspension through catheter into animal's stomach in an amount of 2.5% by weight of body; simultaneously introducing every day mercury subchloride through catheter into animal's stomach in an amount of 0.5 mg/kg.
EFFECT: reduced accumulation of mercury and provision for diminishing of mercury toxic effect on intoxication with mercury compounds.
