FIELD: protective elements.
SUBSTANCE: protective element contains multi-layered structure with microscopically small optically active structures of surface sample positioned between two transparent layers of the multi-layered structure. Optically active structures are formed in form of surface sections of protective mark formed by coordinate axes (x;y) of the surface sample plane in reflective boundary surface between layers. At least one surface element with dimensions greater than 0,4 mm has diffractive structure (S;S*;S**), formed by additive or subtractive superposition of superposition function (M) describing macroscopic structure with microscopically thin raised profile (R). Superposition function (M), raised profile (R) and diffraction structure (S;S*;S**) are functions of coordinates (x,y) and raised profile (R) describes optically active structure (9), which ensures diffraction of light or dissipation of light, which preserves, correspondingly to superposition function (M), the predetermined raised profile (R). Middle plane, which is determined by at least piecewise continuous superposition function (M), at least at sections curves and at each point has a local angle of inclination (γ), predetermined by gradient of superposition function (M). The function is not a periodical triangular or rectangular function and is a slowly changing function compared to raised profile (R). When the multi-layered structure is turned or canted, observer sees continuous moving stripes, depending on angle of observation, on lit surface elements.
EFFECT: efficient protective element has high resistance to attempts of forgery, for example, holographic copying, because it creates a dual barrier.
