FIELD: mining industry and industrial inorganic synthesis.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of zirconium compounds and may be used for preparation of silicon fluoroxide compounds useful as catalysts in production of organosilicon compounds and polymers. Zircon concentrate processing comprises fluorination thereof with elementary fluorine used in excess of stoichiometrically needed amount, processing of emission gases while reusing unreacted fluorine and performing perhydrolysis of silicon tetrafluoride formed in the fluorination process. Emission gasses accompanying fluorination process are supplemented by oxygen and brought into reaction with hydrogen at molar ratio SiF4 : F2 : O2 : H2 = 1:1:(5-9):11. Content of fluorine oxide compounds of silicone obtained are changed by varying proportion of oxygen in indicated gas mixture.

EFFECT: simplified processing technology and enabled preparation of fluorine-alloyed silicon oxide compounds.
