FIELD: guard equipment, applicable at protection of open territories against unauthorized access.
SUBSTANCE: the signals of seismic receivers located in the contour of the guarded zone are subjected to amplification, filtering and mutually-correlation treatment, a decision is taken on detection of the violator at exceeding of the preset threshold by the level of mutual correlation of the signal of one receiver with the signals of at least three other receivers. The relative delays of signals of these four receivers are defined according to the position of the maximum of mutually-correlation functions, and according to the known coordinates of these receivers the current coordinates of the violator are calculated.
EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity of the method of detection, expanded zone of observation and provided estimation of the current co-ordinates of the violator within the zone observation.
