FIELD: nuclear plant in containment for pressure relief in such plant.
SUBSTANCE: proposed nuclear plant has shielding containment with pressure-relief piping connected thereto. Gas blower and Venturi scrubber mounted in detergent-filled tank are connected in series to pressure-relief piping. Gas blower and Venturi scrubber are designed for setting flow velocity primarily over 180 m/s for medium conveyed over piping wherein medium pressure relief is over 130 m/s. In addition, method is proposed for setting pressure relief within nuclear plant primarily over 180 m/s at which flow velocity of medium conveyed over pressure-relief piping is set within Venturi scrubber over 130 m/s. Provision is made for entrapping even minimal amount of air-entrapped radioactive materials and aerosols in Venturi scrubber even at tolerated leaks from containment so that their escape into atmosphere is made impossible.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of entrapping radioactive materials and aerosols; enhanced environmental friendliness.
