FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nuclear power plant. Plant (4) includes protective shell (8) of the reactor and system (2) of filtered pressure release from the protective shell of the reactor. System (2) of filtered pressure release from reactor containment includes pressure release line (10) leading from inner space of protective shell (8) of reactor to outside. At inlet (12) of line (10) of pressure release or immediately behind it there is catalytic recombiner (20) for hydrogen removal and in addition downstream in line (10) of pressure release there is wet scrubber (48). Inside protective shell (8) of the reactor there is wet scrubber (48) comprising compartment (50) of flushing liquid for flushing liquid (54) in it and gas canopy (52) above it, so that during the pressure relief operation the discharged flow is washed with flushing liquid (54) and then enters gas dome (52). Gas canopy (52) is sealed relative to atmosphere (110) of protective shell of reactor. Compartment (50) of flushing fluid is part of larger tank (68) located inside containment shell (8) of reactor, and is in-line connected to remaining part of tank (68) so that flushing liquid (54) lost in compartment (50) of flushing liquid from evaporation is automatically replenished with liquid (70) from reservoir (68).

EFFECT: avoiding risk of operation of wet scrubber (48) during dry pressure relief operation from protective shell of nuclear reactor.
