FIELD: packing equipment, particularly to pack food and other products having different shapes and dimensions.
SUBSTANCE: package comprises frame to receive product. The frame is placed between two flexible heat-sealable webs. The webs are air-tightly sealed along package perimeter along with gusset forming from one or two package sides to provide predetermined package volume. Paper, film, cardboard, corrugated board or fabric strip is arranged between heat-sealable webs. The strip has frame-forming cuts to convert the strip into frame for product receiving. Frame-forming strip edges are secured inside heat-sealable web seams. As product is inserted in frame cuts the strip is bent into package from one or several sides thereof. The bent may be made as double one to create package bottom. Frame may be of flat shape.
EFFECT: increased strength and air-tightness, prevention of product displacing inside package.
