AUTOMATIC PACKING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: packing facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for packing food products and articles of different shape and dimensions as well as liquid and paste-like substances and their combinations. Proposed automatic packing device has roll holders mounted on frame, changing and discharging means and welding mechanisms. Device has also shaper of tapes running from roll holders. Rolls of longitudinal welding mechanism are spring- loaded, being installed on two separate shafts at different sides of tape shaper for changing width between them. Rubber or metal extended shaft arranged across frame is installed under rollers for rotation and engagement with rollers. Tape shaper is made in form of two [pairs of limiting plates located parallel to rollers cantilever mounted on frame and installed between packing material tapes and upper tape forming shafts engaging with additional shaft. Charging means can be made in form of conveyor cantilever-mounted on frame for displacement along frame and arrangement between tapes. For fitting excess packing material inside package, blade elements are installed before cross welding mechanism. Detachable holders are installed on cross welding mechanism to provide different configurations of welds. Device makes it possible to form welds of different configuration capable of withstanding heavy loads. EFFECT: provision of packages of different sizes and shape owing to possibility of adjusting distance between rollers forming side welds. 6 cl, 7 dwg
