FIELD: technology of silicates, glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes glass comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO2, 48.0-53.0; CaO, 8.0-12.0; Na2O, 1.0-2.0; P2O5, 4.0-6.0; MgO, 2.0-4.0; Fe2O3, 0.3-0.5; fluoride ions (F'), 0.5-0.7; B2O3, 24.0-28.0, and CuO, 2.0-4.0. Invention provides enhancing mechanical strength and decreasing coefficient of thermal expansion of glass. Proposed glass composition is used in manufacturing facing tiles.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of glass.
