SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the composition of the enamels used for their deposition on the articles made out of the cast iron and the steel. The technical result of the invention consists in the increased flowability and the luster of the enamel. The enamel composition contains (in mass %): SiO₂ - 40.0-45.0; Na₂O - 6.5-11.5; В₂О₃ - 24.0-26.0; TiO₂ - 4.0-5.0; СаО - 4.5-5.5; ZrO₂ - 0.5-1.5; СоО - 0.5-1.0; Fe₂O₃ - 0.5-1.0; CuO - 0.5-1.0; NiO - 0.8-1.5; MnO - 0.5-1.0; BaO - 4.5-5.5; ZnO - 4.5-5.5.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased flowability and the luster of the enamel.
