FIELD: manufacture of building materials.
SUBSTANCE: proposed heat-insulating building material contains mineral binder and filler in form of closed incombustible microspheres, 15-100 mcm in size at zero water absorption and average diameter of 50 mcm and bulk density of 0.35-0.45 g/cm3; proposed material also contains water; mineral binder and filler are taken in the amount of 34-38% and 16-20%, respectively relative to mass of material; the remainder being water. Specification gives description of method for manufacture of this material.
EFFECT: reduced demixing of mixture; reduced water absorption and heat conductivity; enhanced strength; reduced specific gravity; enhanced freeze resistance; enhanced ecological safety and incombustibility; extended range of application.
