FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of alkylarylsulfonates. Method involves the following steps: (a) conversion of a mixture of C4-olefins to mixture of olefins containing 2-pentene and/or 3-hexene in the presence of the exchange reaction catalyst and, if necessary, isolation of 2-pentene and/or 3-hexene; (b) dimerization of 2-pentene and/or 3-hexene synthesized in step (a) in the presence of the dimerization reaction catalyst to yield (C10-C12)-olefins-containing mixture and, if necessary, isolation of (C10-C12)-olefins; (c) interaction of mixture of (C10-C12)-olefins synthesized in step (b) with aromatic hydrocarbon in the presence of the alkylation reaction catalyst to yield alkylaromatic compounds wherein before this interaction linear olefins can be added additionally; (d) sulfonation of alkylaromatic compounds synthesized in step (c) and neutralization of sulfonation products to alkylarylsulfonates wherein before the sulfonation reaction linear alkylbenzenes can be added, and (e) if necessary, mixing alkylarylsulfonates synthesized in step (d) with linear alkylarylsulfonates. Also, invention describes a detergent agent based on alkylarylsulfonates synthesized by the proposed method.
EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
