FIELD: petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: butenes contained in fischer-tropsch synthesis C5 fraction are subjected to oligomerization to produce oligomerization mixture, from which di-n-butene and di-iso-butene are isolated and separated in high-performance rectification stage. In one embodiment of the process, ethylene present in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis olefins is dimerized and dimerization mixture is returned into fraction C4 separation stage 12. In another embodiment, between stage 12 and selective hydrogenation stage 13, there is etherification stage 5 wherein isobutene contained in C4 fraction transported via line 1 is subjected to reaction with alcohol transported via line 25 to give alkyl tert-butyl ether removed over line 26 and only remained n-butene is oligomerized in oligomerization stage 2 so that dibutene discharged over line 6 is composed essentially of di-n-butene. In addition, isomerization stage 27 can also be realized wherein n-butene non reacted in oligomerization stage 2 is isomerized into isobutene, which is further used in etherification stage 5.
