FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary internal combustion engine has body with space and three working chambers formed by rotor-displacer on eccentric shaft with at least one gear train for planetary movement of rotor-displacer, gas exchange system with disk slide valve, working mixture intake and exhaust gas discharge means and radial and end face seals. Gear train is found in cover provided with space for counterweight connected with body wall, gas exchange system with channels in wall is arranged in opposite cover with hole for intake of working mixture and discharge of exhaust gases and slot gas exchanger port in disk slide valve. Gear train contains internal gear connected with body by means of cover and external gear connected with rotor-displacer either rigidly or detachably. Combustion chamber is arranged in middle of left-hand face, scavenging port is found in right-hand face, and gas exchange hole for intake of working mixture in lower face can be closed by slide valve. Scavenging hole and exhaust hole for combustion products communicate with atmosphere. Mechanism converting combustion products expansion work into rotation of shaft is provided with means for adjusting expansion clearance of radial seal of rotor-displacer and surface of working space and gear train backlash. Motion of operation of rotary internal combustion engine includes strokes of filling of variable-volume working space with preliminarily prepared working mixture, its compression, ignition, combustion and expansion of combustion products with conversion of expansion work into rotation of radial seal from perpendicular position relative to surface of working space excluding heavy contact stresses in material of plates and surface of space is provided over entire trajectory of movement of rotor-displacer. Gas-dynamic stroke in chamber between one side of rotor-displacer are made coincident with stroke in chambers of other side of rotor-displacer with control of delivery of fuel mixture through port of slide valve. Intake of scavenging air and discharge of heated scavenging air are provided by constantly open scavenging port in right-hand face of working space with interaction with scavenging air of other side of rotor-displacer at each following cycle of engine operation at repetition of described combined stroke in sectors of movement of rotor-displacer at following cycle of engine operation at repetition of described combined stroke in sectors of movement of rotor-displacer through 180°-60°.

EFFECT: increased service life of rotary internal combustion engines, improved main operating parameters of engine.
