FIELD: mechanical and transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has hollow housing with five-peak epitrochoidal space and corresponding four-peak rotor, eccentric shaft, front and rear end face covers, mechanism for synchronizing rotation of rotor and shaft, and timing disk. With shaft rotating, rotor executes planetary motion with its peaks getting in turn into housing cavities. Five working stroke are made during two revolutions of shaft. To increase reliability and longevity of engine, timing disk is placed from outer side of front end face cover on its hub, and exhaust of hot gases from working chambers of engine is provided bypassing the rotor over periphery of front end face cover which precludes over heating of rotor and burning out of oil in rotor and shaft bearing and prevents untimely breakdown of bearings. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and increased service life. 2 cl, 2 dwg
