FIELD: method for correlating two or more overlapping logging diagrams, generated by logging device positioned in a well, assembled on an elongated part.
SUBSTANCE: method contains following stages, at which: (a) sets of logging data are received for two or more spatially overlapping logging diagrams, where each set contains results of measurements of well characteristic in longitudinally remote positions along the well; (b) measurement data are received during the period or periods of generation of logging diagram, where measurement data contains results of elongated part load measurements and results of measurements of surface position of elongated part; and (c) sets of logging data are correlated, determining suppleness of elongated part, which corrects positions of measured characteristics of well. Corrections at stage (c) are realized on basis of correction function, which connects position of logging device to, at least, (i) measured load on elongated part, (ii) measured surface position of elongated part and (iii) suppleness of elongated part.
EFFECT: increased precision of final results, expanded functional capabilities.
