FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: this invention as a whole relates to formation of drilling well image. More specifically this invention relates to on-line transfer of drilling well video data from a certain place inside the well to a certain place on the ground. The claimed group of inventions includes method for transfer of drilling well image data from the well to the ground and drilling assembly for implementation of the above method. At that the method of transfer for drilling well image data from the well to the ground includes the following: receipt of image data set describing formation nearby drilling well with use of logging tool at the selected depth or within range of depth in the drilling well; extraction of image attributes from the image data set and transfer of data on measurement depth and provision of extracted image attributes from the well to the ground; on the ground correlation of image attributes is done with data on measurement depth. Drilling assembly includes logging tool capable to collect image data set describing formation nearby drilling well at the selected depth or within range of depth in the drilling well; borehole processor connected to the logging tool capable to extract image attributes from the image data set to the down well and borehole telemetric system capable to transfer data on measurement depth and to provide image attributes from the well to the ground, surface equipment capable to perform on the ground correlation of extracted image attributes with data on measurement depths.
EFFECT: technical result attained by implementation of the claimed group of inventions lies in on-line transfer of the above attributes to the ground where the above image attributes can be used as input data for different methods of rock analysis or drilling well in real-time mode.
