FIELD: education, namely, teaching of geometry.
SUBSTANCE: to increase efficiency of teaching, the teacher divides subject geometric image onto separate elements, each one of which is shown on a separate demonstration film model. Pupil is asked to build one element on paper carrier, the other element or elements - on transparent film model or models. Then the teacher applies one element of geometric image onto another element and by sliding of models makes elements move relatively to one another, showing to pupils how it is possible to change mutual placement of elements. A pupil examines geometric image on his own, applying a transparent film model with a different element onto element of geometric image on paper carrier, moving elements relatively to each other by sliding the film model, studying their mutual positioning, and on his own visually constructs the subject geometric image firstly on film model, then on immobile carrier. Then a pupil on his own provides a verbal description of geometric concept, notes its substantial and unsubstantial properties. Definition and properties of subject geometric concept are recorded onto paper carrier by the pupil.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
