FIELD: image displaying systems, in particular, systems which ensure efficient visualization and animation of symbols with usage of hardware graphics block, wherein each pixel sub-component is viewed as an independent source of brightness.

SUBSTANCE: effect is achieved due to usage of hardware acceleration of visualization and animation of symbols, where each pixel sub-component is viewed as a separate brightness source. Raster representation of subcomponent-oriented symbol is generated with usage of one image selection point to generate each pixel sub-component, for example, by scaling representation of symbol, moving scaled representation of symbol onto a grid and assigning a brightness value and, possibly, opacity value, for each position of the grid on basis of properties of scaled symbol in this grid position, then the symbol is visualized by means of interaction with hardware graphics block, which performs final visualization and animation of symbol.

EFFECT: more efficient visualization and animation of symbols, which have values of pixel sub-components, generated on basis of separate selection points.
