FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: method to transfer text with subpixel accuracy in a computing environment, comprising a terminal server and a terminal client, including transfer of an image of a single bit card of a character line from a terminal server into a terminal client, includes stages, at which in a terminal server, prior to sending the image of the single bit card to a terminal client, text descriptions are generated, which include information that describes borders of a character for a word character line or phrases, which are repeated, by colours, in order to be able to describe borders of a character with subpixel accuracy; a single bit card of character line is developed in a terminal server prior to sending an image of a single bit card into a terminal client, besides, the bit card image includes one or more bit card pixels, which form one or more edges of a bit card; and the image of the single bit card is sent into a terminal client, including sending colour images and alpha-factor values for one or more pixels of the bit card, besides, colour values and alpha-factor values are used to mix a background in a terminal client by using colour values by a terminal client and values of alpha-factor together with information on a background in a terminal client.

EFFECT: higher level of system efficiency and quality of text information display on a screen.
