FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method is used for electrical connection of parts and modules to current-transmitting unit provided with electric contact members and magnetic bodies wherein magnetic bodies of current-receiving unit provided with mating electric contact members of reverse polarity are disposed opposite magnetic bodies of current-transmitting unit. To this end during first step junction members are mechanically interconnected keeping excess clearances between them to compensate for clearances using coarse guide for the purpose; second step involves fine positioning and fine alignment of mating parts. In the process electric contact is automatically established between contact members of current-transmitting unit and mating contact members of current-receiving unit due to magnetic forces of attraction between magnetic bodies of current-transmitting and current-receiving units.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of electrical connection.
