FIELD: medicine, vascular surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should fulfill the access into venous system through right subclavicular vein due to periosteal access by Ioffe, carry out embolization of left internal spermatic vein (ISV) with two spirals at coils diameter being about 7-10 mm, the length of 5 cm, not less. One of them should be installed distally in the site of the juncture of testicular vein and that of spermatic duct and cremaster vein, and the second - proximally in the mouth of left ISV. Moreover, the lower end of distal spiral should be 1 cm distally against the site of the juncture of testicular vein with the vein of spermatic duct and cremaster vein. The lower end of proximal spiral should overlap the mouth of capsular renal vein, and its upper end should be nearer against the site of left ISV inflow into renal vein. The innovation enables to decrease radiation loading upon a patient and medical staff, shortens the time of operation and prevents intra- and post-surgical complications.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
