FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely X-ray surgery and surgical urology. A spermatic vein is selectively catheterised. A diagnostic catheter is used to introduce a conductor to set a two-lumen balloon catheter into the spermatic vein. Complete obturation of the vein lumen follows. A segment of the spermatic vein is isolated for scleroobliteration by exclusion of a proximal portion of the left internal spermatic vein (LISV) from the blood flow by inflating the balloon catheter and extravasal vein compression to a pubic bone. With the inflated balloon and the compressed spermatic vein, blood and a contrast agent are aspirated. A hardener is introduced after blocked injection of the blood mixture. The hardener is exposed. Then, the hardener found in the catheter lumen and the vein lumen is aspirated through a central lumen of the balloon catheter. The balloon catheter is blown away and removed from the renal vein.
EFFECT: method enables higher clinical effectiveness in the patients with primary and recurrent varicocele ensured by the hardener effects on the isolated segment of the left internal spermatic vein.
