FIELD: foundry, namely heat treatment of ceramic molds for casting with use of investment patterns.
SUBSTANCE: method is designed for heat treatment of ceramic molds for casting with use of investment patterns made on base of Al2O3, Fe2O4, MnO2. Method comprises steps of placing casting molds in chamber for SHF- heating on rotary platform with openings; arranging casting basins of casting molds over said openings whose number is equal to quantity of casting molds; driving platform to rotation at revolution number 1 - 3 per minute; setting power level of SHF-energy in such a way tat to provide 200 - 400 Wt for each kilogram of casting mold mass; heating for 40 - 120 s; lowering SHF -energy power by 20 -25% and soaking casting molds for 4 - 8 min for baking them and completely removing pattern mass; turning off SHF generator; cooling casting molds till 70 - 80°C; unloading casting molds and melted-out pattern mass.
EFFECT: accelerated manufacturing process, improved quality of article surface, possibility for multiple usage of pattern mass.
