SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plus-caps designed for closing and sealing of fuel tank filler neck. Proposed filler neck plug has cap with projecting part forming handle, and body with thread to turn into filler neck connected to each other, torque limiting members and gasket. Plug of proposed design versions is simple and convenient in use providing hermetic connection of plug and filler neck of automobile fuel tank, it limits discharge of fuel fumes from fuel tank into atmosphere, maintains working pressure in automobiles operating under different climatic conditions at ambient temperatures from - 45°C to +50°C.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture and assembling, improved reliability in operation.
