SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steering mechanism with case 1, toothed rack 11 determining axial direction which is in meshing with steering gear 13, and hydraulic servodrive with cylinder-piston unit containing piston 6, piston rod 4 passing in axial direction, and cylinder 2. Toothed rack and piston rod are arranged axially parallel relative to each other at a distance from each other across axial direction, and toothed rack is rigidly connected with cylinder in axial direction.
EFFECT: provision of compactness of unit.
