FIELD: oil industry, particularly devices for suction rod protection against wear and for rod hanger protection against rotation.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises roller and hinge units. Roller unit comprises cylindrical body and rollers supported by pins and projecting over surface thereof. Rollers are grouped in several rows transversal to cylindrical body axis. Rollers of each row are arranged along a circle and spaced apart so that 120° is defined in-between. The roller axes are inclined to cylindrical body axis through 60-80°. The rollers are formed of polymeric wear-resistant material of polyurethane, polyamide or fluoroplastic type. Roller unit may be threadedly connected with similar units, hinge unit or sucker rods.
EFFECT: possibility to compensate torque load applied to rod.
