FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, technique used in vine crop fruit harvesting machines.
SUBSTANCE: windrow forming apparatus has vehicle, frame with pivotally attached sections of working tools, which are positioned forward of vehicle front wheels. Each of working tools is made in the form of tore-shaped pneumatic chamber mounted on hub by means of oppositely arranged shape disks. Hub with bearing supports is mounted on axle positioned at an angle to longitudinal axis of beam which may be moved to transport position. Ground-engaging members provided on shaped disk oriented toward field are mounted by means of ring and are made in the form of cones with rounded apexes. Threaded shanks of ground-engaging members are inserted into ring openings at pitch providing uniform rotation of working tool upon engagement with ground.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and minimized damage to vine fruit.
